This study focuses on the determinants of employees’ retirement intentions and actual retirement age.
Retirement intentions are measured with an item from the 2003 Quality of Work Life Survey in which respondents were asked to indicate the age at which they expected to retire full-time. Data on actual retirement age were drawn from Finnish Centre for Pensions registers and cover period 2005–2013.
