Occupational pension scheme governance - A report on the 2013 (seventh) scheme governance survey
This report details the key findings of the seventh annual scheme governance survey, conducted on behalf of The Pensions Regulator.
The main objectives of the survey are to measure and track the performance of trust - based schemes in relation to governance, administration and trustee knowledge and understanding; to provide evidence on the effectiveness of the regulator’s interventions and its performance against its statutory objectives; and to provide early warning of issues where the regulator could consider intervention activities. As in previous years, the schemes interviewed were drawn from the regulator’s scheme registry database, and the selected contacts were asked for their participation by letter or email prior to the research commencing.
