Egen pensjonskonto ble innført i 2021, og omfatter om lag 1,5 millioner arbeidstakere i privat sektor med innskuddspensjon. I løpet av 2021 skal nåværende og tidligere pensjonsopptjening samles på egne pensjonskontoer, med mindre arbeidstaker reserverer seg mot dette. 1. mai startet den automatiske samlingen av pensjonskapitalbevis. På seminaret gir Finans Norge oss en oversikt over status så langt. Deretter får vi kommentarer fra bransjen og fra partene i arbeidslivet. 

This study examines how knowledge about institutional settings and their reform affects the effectiveness of those reforms. We examine this question in the context of social security, the largest social insurance program in Europe, by exploiting time and cross-country variation in pension regulations in seven European countries.

All OECD economies are undergoing rapid population ageing, leading to more age diversity in workplaces than ever before as people are not only living longer but working longer. Greater diversity of experience, generations and skills gives employers an important opportunity to harness the talent that different age groups bring to the workplace and improve productivity and profitability. What can employers do to maximise the benefits of a multigenerational workforce?

This review has compiled the key indicators used in assessing pension policy. It offers a concise and comprehensible overview of the realised development of the length of working lives, pension levels and the estimated costs of the future development.

The majority of older workers defer retirement and continue working in pace with the rising retirement age. Last year, around 45,000 Finnish citizens retired on an old-age pension.

Due to increasing life expectancy pension benefits and savings need to last longer, which casts doubt on the financial security of retirees. Surprisingly, what pension benefit level can be considered adequate remains unclear. In this paper, we propose an identification strategy for the estimation of pension adequacy standards.
